Sound Soap, version 2.11, $129 to register directly from the manufacturer. You can find a “street price” of about $100. by doing a Google search on SoundSoap. There is no demo version available but you can download the User Guide – it is quite comprehensive. Sound Soap can be used as a “stand alone” program or as a Direct-X plug-in.
I have upgraded one computer to Windows XP® and Sound Soap 2.11 has been installed. You can expect a review in the near future. (The upgrade from version 2.0 to 2.11 was free but I did have to enter my 2.0 serial number and get a new serial number by email.)
Sound Soap Pro, version 1.2, $599 to register directly from the manufacturer. You can find a “street price” of about $500 by doing a Google search. A trial version is available for download as is the User Guide as an Adobe Acrobat pdf file. It’s 76 pages and very complete with “how to do it” examples. The Pro version is a Direct-X, VST, RAST, Audio Units or Audio Suite plug-in for Mac® or Windows®.
The trial version is a bit large, about 33 MB, so a high-speed internet connection is useful. However, it can be downloaded in less than 2 hours with a dial-up connection.
